Is anyone else having trouble with Buy Shipping and FedEx? I am no longer able to declare value with FedEx. We ship expensive items and need to declare value. When we try to declare value we get a message stating, "Error occurred. Please try with a different delivery method." We have negotiated rates with FedEx, so going with a different carrier really isn't an option. We tested UPS and USPS and did not have the same issue.
I have a case open, just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and may have some insight.

Are you continuing to have this issue, and if so, have you filed a support case with details about the problem? If so, can you share that Case ID with me?
I have not seen this widely reported in the forums, but your information will help me report the problem and find a root cause.
Thanks, @KJ_Amazonyour information is not wrong but the Amazon Buy Shipping Service used to allow $500 declared value with Signature Confirmation on FedEx labels. This is helpful for us due to negotiated FedEx rates, but the signature confirmation must be requested and not automatically applied for our discount to apply. I am okay with loosing this negotiated discount to retain Buy Shipping Protections. I am providing this additional negotiated information because maybe other FedEx shippers have this same offer and may be why they are experiencing this glitch also.
I see you posted that FedEx will automatically apply Direct Signature Required to a package with a declared value of $500 or more within the US and to Canada.
Can you confirm this will satisfy the "Signature confirmation recommended" when an order status displays Signature confirmation recommended?

The response I got from Amazon was as follows. Not very helpful and FedEx had no response to this.
Upon investigation,we found that:
Signature VAS was requested by You, but FedEx didn't return in FedEx API response. FedEx Carrier Service will need to be updated to handle such cases gracefully.
Issue is with the Fedex services not with Amazon.
You need to reach out to the fedex team.
Since the issue has been reported a month ago this issue should have been fixed by now.Check once again if issue still persists contact Fedex team.
