You have entered the NSFE (New Seller Forum Experience)
The forums changed some time ago, to a more open, system with safe spaces and no private messages.
Oh, and your store name will be displayed if people click your icon. Some refer to this as being outed.
Most of us went to another forum we started where sellers can provide input to other sellers without those changes.
It appears that when you reconnected, you may have selected to start over. Rather than converting your account.
Possibly @Micah_Amazon can help work that out.
I rec'd an email stating it was basically a glitch. They restored my account to my old profile but anything I did while I was signed in under my new profile was lost.

Thank you for your post. My apologies on the frustration. We did experience a glitch in which some sellers accounts were reset.
I will go ahead and send you information up and see if we can get your account recovered.
