We have products that were recalled, Amazon said that we have to remove the recalled inventory to reactivate these listings. This was 8 months ago and we were able to remove most of the recalled inventory, and reactivate one of the listings. But there are multiple removal orders that are taking way too long.
6+ months old removal orders, we tried to cancel them to do a disposal instead (thinking that might be faster) but Amazon says they cannot be canceled because they are under processing status and we just have to wait. But they have been under processing status for 100+ days! Case ID's: 9938778332, 9939194212, 9939086802

From my own experience, this happens, for example, when products are classified as dangerous goods and therefore have to be recalled. Unfortunately, you get the feeling that once a product has been classified as dangerous goods (in my own experience, it was a foodstuff with alcohol content, i.e. not a dangerous good in the legal sense but for Amazon), then it sits somewhere as blocked stock that nobody wants to touch. In our case, it took months and countless cases for the goods to be returned. The only thing that helped us was to constantly open cases and pester the seller service team with the problem.
Hello @Seller_8uzrxP27vdO9Y,
I checked the case IDs you mentioned and asked for an update. I will let you know if I get any update on this.
Best,
Emma
