For the past month Amazon has been putting all my sales into "deferred payments" (a huge fraudulent double ledger business practice) and then listing my standard sales as a "negative balance). Then on settlement day (every 14 days), since deferred sales do not pay you until a minimum of 37-days after the sale date - Amazon charges my credit card to "zero out" the phony negative balance.
"Deferred payments" are NOT "negative standard payments" since Amazon already has the buyer's money. Now they are taking a double payment by charging my credit card to zero out their own fraudulent bookkeeping practices.
I just have to figure out which authority to file my complaint with (probably multiple agencies). The DA in Seattle (because that's where Amazon is based). My own DA since I am a victim of Amazon literally stealing money from my credit card. The FTC for unfair business practices. The FBI for credit card fraud and interstate fraud by wire. Any other agency that would have jurisdiction over Amazon.
One thing I will definitely NOT do is file a "case". A "case" is an endless loop to delay you from doing what is you should have done in the first place.
Since I believe this practice of false ledger entries and taking of a seller's money because of those false ledger entries is a criminal act, arbitration would NOT be the solution since an arbitrator has no authority over any criminal actions by Amazon.
I would like to know if any of my fellow 3P sellers have seen this, been or are a victim of this criminal action by Amazon against us and if in the past what they did (and did they get results)? I do see some other similar posts will I will check out.
