good afternoon @Cooper_Amazon our listing ASIN: B0055S7DJS has been hijacked by SoiKoi. i have seen in the forums that you have been able to help other brand with this issue, can you help restore the listing to our controll? right now we can't edit the listing without "approval" form soikoi which is infuriating.
Thanks!
Same thing happened to us. Still waiting for our ASIN to get fixed, it's been more than 2 months.
I don't understand how this "soikoi" brand is still allowed to sell on amazon after hijacking so many listings from people.
Same problem here. Have opened multiple cases with Amazon leading nowhere
Does this happen if you are brand registered as well?
Same Problem, My listing has 4 Variation he hijacked 3 and leave 1, I run different types of campaign so My campaign is runing, I lost money, he looted sales
Sadly, Amazon refuses to protect US-based businesses.
This same bad actor has been in the forums for many months, clearly, Amazon isn't going to take action to remove them.
Same thing happened to us months ago. Just here to see if Soikoi is still creating problems. Unfortunately, it looks like nothing has been done yet. Hopefully one day this will get resolved. I will check back in a few more months. I had some inventory left that I was going to replenish. I gave up and made a new similar listing and lost all my reviews to keep going. Would love to get my original listing back as it was doing very well. I own the original GTIN UPC barcode, but somehow it doesn't mean anything by Amazon and Soikoi has control over it now. What a headache...Good Luck in attempting to restore your listing.
post.Maybe it's time for Amazon to do the right thing and block Chinese country sellers from from Amazon?
@Seller_YUtaEpvGQgcad
I've escalated your ASIN to be further evaluated by the team and will update you when I hear back.
All other sellers - I have also taken your notes about this same brand popping up all over the place to the team to report this. Thank you for continuing to bring this to our attention.

I am guessing all of the sellers who had their listings hijacked purchased UPC's from the same third party instead of GS1. Then Soikoi comes along and proves he is the legal owner of the UPC prefix used in those listings., In that case, Amazon will immediately change the brand to the person GS1 designates as the owner of the prefix, if they are brand registered. This is why Amazon tells sellers to obtain UPC's through GS1 and not third party UPC resellers. When UPC's are purchased in that fashion you have zero protection from something like this.
While what he is doing is not very ethical, its also not against the rules if he is the owner of the UPC used to create the listing.

Ridiculous that Amazon does nothing!
