Read onlyWe are unable to removes child ASINS from a parent ASIN created by Amazon retail improve the variation selection offered to customers.
Despite our efforts using the flat file delete and relist method, the child ASINs remain attached to the original parent ASIN.
We initiated a case ID 16524328181, but received a response stating that "we are unable to accept the request because the contribution is owned by Amazon Retail."
We also opened another case ID 16532414951 and seller support told us “The ASIN has now been successfully removed from the variation family.”. However, these child ASINS were still attached to the original parent ASIN.

We’d like to remove the above child ASINs from the parent ASIN B084M3YM91. We are the Brand Owner and Manufacturer of the product. Anyone can help us to resolve this issue?
Was my request to delete an Amazon retail variation rejected? We have a case in which we have removed that relationship from the backend, but the information still exists and we are having trouble deleting and creating new variations.
Yes, we have probably met the exact same problem as you. Have you solve it? If so could you kindly share with us how?
@Jurgen_Amazon Hello, we are having the same parent issue as other sellers and I see that you have help them solved this problem in a post. could you read my post and kindly help us solve this issue?
Thanks a lot.
Hello @Seller_CRXSljwg9Y0Tz,
Ricardo from Amazon here.
I have sent this request to our Escalations team. Once I receive a response, I will be letting you know.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Hello @Seller_CRXSljwg9Y0Tz,
Here is the response received from our Escalations team:
"Upon investigation, the seller listings B07ZGM2PFJ B07ZGMZPW9 B07ZGXJWXH B0885TN5J7 B08862CM7Z B08GPL3CHV B0CRBLY1G6 are currently attached to the parent ASIN B07ZGLNWP3, not to B084M3YM91.
After checking ASIN B07ZGLNWP3, we also confirmed that it was created for the seller ID 84630351102, an under frontline case 16532414951 we confirmed to the SP that the previous variation was separated, so everything has been resolved, and no additional action is required."
