Is Amazon ever going to fix its "Ship Date" selector for MF orders? It hasn't been working with the "Fulfillment Insights Dashboard" for measuring "gap" for months now. @KJ_Amazon @SEAmod or anyone else?
One of the issues seems to be the ship date selector.
Example: A merchant has a shipment due to be shipped by 21Mar25 and a seller prints the label today 19Mar25 and marks the date shipped as 21Mar25, Amazon is still counting the shipment "Fulfillment gap" shows 2 days.
The other issue is the policy for the gap measurement is supposed to go off of when the item is scanned by the carrier. It appears to be going off of when the label is printed instead. It's currently showing we ship most of our orders <1 day - which is impossible as we usually ship things in 2-3 days. We recently changed some of our SKUs to 1 day to try to shrink our gap and are hoping that will eventually help - but as the measurement is already delayed 8 days AND is now going off of delivery due dates and not shipment dates that is 3 weeks behind.
If need be I'm happy to create a case with seller support - but as we know that will be all but pointless without your help or someone at the top listening to the issue.
Unfortunately from our understand Amazon has chosen not to share that data nor is there a report available with that info so a seller can review it - would be great if there was though!
This is the only reasonable thing that could be impacting us and so many others who do not routinely ship early. We built 3 day latency on all of our listings the last half year, and it's still showing (as of this am) we ship everything in 1 day (we did change some items to 1 day 2-3 weeks ago in hopes of bringing the gap closer). When we ship we typically choose the day the order is due on the date selector. Most orders ship the day chosen, rarely a day early. Our gap is still showing 2.7-3.0.
