Read onlyHII everyone i listed a product 4 days ago.. i wasnt winning the buy box at first but then from last 2 day i am winning the buy box but i havent got any sales they are only 10 units..What should i do i contacted amazon 10 times to confirm that am i winning the buy box they said yes 7 out of 10 times..its fba
Quite simple...demand is non-existent for your product right now. Patience is the key.
and you know this how?
I am assuming you are a new seller, so, a few things:
1) Buybox is not a guarantee of sales...not even 1. It increases your chances, due to its prominent visibility - that's about it.
However, a student who is looking to spend as little money as possible, to get a book as soon as possible, is likely to bypass a BB seller who offers a new copy for 'a lot of money', and is likely to bypass the (Used BB offer) which would take a month to get to the shopper. Just an example.....
2) No need to contact Amazon that many times just to ask if you're getting the BB. Just sign out of your account, search for your product and you will see if you are displayed in the BB.
Good luck.
Lol, those are not accurate in any way for the Canadian Marketplace. Their estimates are based on the US market and population.
What is the sales rank and what category?
I'm running into the same issue as you. With my products, I have been able to make some sales last month but this month even with sponsor ads running and I have buy box there weren't any sales conversion at all... I find it kinda odd...
Just a small note of reality.
Listing a product on amazon and even getting the buy box in NO WAY reflects you are going to sell anything. The Search results are ambiguous at best as when I search for products, sponsored items appear first even if they do not match the search request. Finding ANY specific product on Amazon is a crapshoot at best unless you know the part number.
Nobody buys a product because it is listed. They buy what then need, and don't forget those buyers that buy, change their mind and return with some wild reason, so Amazon gives them all their money back.
Get Real here ..... You have a number of posts on these 10 items. Going back three weeks. Most of use cannot get hold of anybody at Amazon, consider youself lucky that you got 7 out of 10 responses, in those 4 days.
Amazing how much time you spent on these 10 items. I assume they are over $500.00 each to make up for all the time spent.
Just an FYI here.
Hey @Seller_uQdzMCzyzEbdq,
There are a variety of factors that comprise featured offer eligibility. I've included some resources that may be helpful to reference below.
How do I become eligible for the Featured Offer?
Featured Offer eligibility is based on a variety of factors that can affect the customer experience. These factors are evaluated for all sellers, even if you are the only seller. Below are a couple of examples:
Type of selling plan: If you are fulfilling orders yourself, you must have a Professional Selling Plan.
Metrics: Your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, and Late Shipment Rate are metrics that help determine eligibility—the better you perform, the higher your chances are of becoming Featured Offer eligible. You can see how you're doing on the Account Health page.
Featured Offer Info & Eligibility Checker
1- Price your items competitively
2- Offer faster shipping and free shipping (Note: Products with faster estimated delivery times are also more likely to be the featured offers on product detail pages)
3- Provide great customer service
4- Keep stock available.
View Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligibility in Manage Inventory
a) First, check eligibility
b) Then, in Seller Central, go to your Manage Inventory page and then click Preferences
c) Select Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible, and at the bottom of the page, click Save Changes
d) The Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible column will display the status for each of your ASINs
How can I drive sales without the Featured Offer?
These are the points I would suggest new seller's looking into when trying to enhance their feature offer eligibility.
We look forward to your continued contributions to the Forums!
Regards,
Daryl
