evening im new is there a list of approved suppliers or distributors?
The manufacturer directly and the manufacturer authorized distributors. You can find out the authorized distributors from the manufacturers. Be sure you have permission to resell on Amazon from the manufacturer as more and more manufacturers do not want their products on Amazon or they limit the amount of sellers who can sell on 3rd party platforms.
No, there is no list, and that is not the question to ask. The better question would be, If I establish a business credit 30 day invoice account with the manufacturer, can I sell their products. If the manufacturer has vetted you and approved you to sell their products on Amazon, the manufacturer can make it happen in most cases.
Every manufacture has a different approved supplier list. Contact them for their list. You need to do this for EVERY item you want to sell… cause you need to know where to buy from!
Hi @Cheers_CO1 -
It sounds like you are asking for a list suppliers/distributors who sell products that are pre-approved for sale on Amazon, either by Amazon and/or brand owners, yes? If so, then you need to know that it’s not they who need those approvals–it is you as a Seller, selling that specific item, on Amazon–as all previous posters here have noted.
It also sounds as if you might be starting your business as an e-commerce business on Amazon’s sales channel. If so, I strongly recommend that you:
read through @Rushdie’s post New Seller Checklist and allllll of the links therein before you take any next steps.
watch the videos in Seller University, starting with Products Requiring Approval.
Obtaining a list of suppliers and distributers is one of the hardest things to do as an amazon seller. You must first start with the product you want to sell and then, see if it is gated when you create a listing on your account. I personally start with my suppliers catalogue and do my research. Unfortunately, there is no one that will give you a list, as this is the groundwork you need to put in yourself. There are several companies popping up that will provide you a list for a price. They have already done the hard work for you. Sorry that is’nt much help, but I only have a handful of suppliers myself.
