Updating Late Shipment Rate

Could you please advise if there is a way to adjust or update the last shipment rate? While we dispatched the orders on time, our system did not post the tracking information to Amazon promptly, which has impacted our LSR.

"our system did not post the tracking information to Amazon promptly, which has impacted our LSR."

Put a better system in place because Amazon is as flexible as solid granite about almost everything.

Sellers need to adjust, not the powers that run the site.

I can see how sometimes it is confusing and frustrating to know how to resolve Late Shipment Rate issues. I hope some of this information will guide you to the understanding you need.

This is what I found:

Late shipment rate calculation

The late shipment rate is the number of seller-fulfilled orders that are ship confirmed after the expected ship date divided by the number of seller-fulfilled orders in the time period of interest.

Please review this information : Late Shipment Rate

What system are you using that is not updating correctly? Have you resolved this issue?

The Late Shipment metric is a 10-day window and 30-day window. The metric changes as time goes by and if you resolved the system update problem, the higher metrics will roll off with time.

If you realize there is an issue, you have the ability to go in and add the tracking making sure it is correct.

This is all general information. For greater detail concerning your specific account issues, please provide a Case ID, ASIN or Performance Notification. With that information and the assistance of an internal team, I would have greater insight to your issue.

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.

You're not alone. Amazon said our ship app was connected when it wasn't, and we got hit with late shipments with them refusing to correct. It was through a renewal process. We believed Amazon's site when it said successful, connected with a green checkmark.

What you need to do is wait 5 mins after uploaded or slightly longer if you have a lot of orders processing and log onto Amazon and double check. Every time, no matter what. Good luck, cause my ADHD still screws that up. A lot of business owners have ADHD too. Not knowing their userbase. Maybe they should listen to a seller and help them out in those situations, especially if tracking confirms all 20, 30, 100, 500 orders did in fact ship on time. Once in a blue moon, we'll help you out is good business. A consistent issue, multiple times a year. No, that's on you and the app. Switch. There are 14 3rd party apps they work with.
