Amazon charges me a fee per item sold. Additionally, they deduct a monthly storage fee and, on top of that, a "Long Term Storage Fee" every month. Normally, the Long Term Storage Fee averaged around $1 per item. However, this month, they charged a total of $1,100 for 120 items under the Long Term Storage Fee category.
Isn't this unfair? They are already taking a fee from my sales, charging for storage, and now they’ve imposed a Long Term Storage Fee of nearly $11 per item this month. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do about it?
Hi there @Seller_1Q9rRINV5DSEu,
I recommend checking your monthly storage fee reports and measuring against the fee details table in the Aged inventory surcharge help page.
You'll note there that charges per cubic foot rise across each increment from 181, 211, 241, 271, 301, 331, and 365 days or more.
If you think your aged surcharges were charged incorrectly based on their age and cubic footprint, please raise a case with seller support that includes those details.
Regards,
Topher
