Hike in closing fee for Self Ship Orders
Dear fellow sellers,
You might have observed that, Amazon, in the big shadow of 0% referral fee, has quietly increased the closing fee for self-ship orders.
I am a small-scale seller who has recently joined this platform. I was selling on thin margins just to get some orders.
Most of my products are in the price range of Rs. 150-300.
Now, with this increased closing fee, I have to pay a total fee of Rs. 53.10 to Amazon. I am literally into losses with this change. Increasing prices is not feasible where it makes me incompetitive to big renowned sellers.
I mean, this is very unfair. Amazon, you are forcing small sellers to use Easy Ship service.
Approx. 25-30% of the Price now goes to Amazon fees. This is bullying with small sellers.
We started our business by investing whatever small savings we had. Every single order gave us hope that one day we would also have a stable business. Now, if it is all a loss-making setup, I doubt we will be able to continue on this platform.
Requesting others to please raise your voice.

Reality of 0% fee, they have silently increased the fixed closing fee from 7₹ to 45₹+GST,
Before this fee discount;
Item Price: 249₹
Amazon Total Deduction: 31₹
Now after fee discount;
Item Price: 249₹
Amazon Total Deduction: 53₹

samer here , not only in self ship they have now increased the fees in FBA as smart move , the pick and pack fee has been increased thrice for a simple bag of 700 gm there are charging pick and pack fee as volumetric kuch too shame Karoo amazon guys ?????? volumetric surf shipping mean Hota hai ????? who bai you are looting us ??? so everywhere its pain.. I am looking for suggestions for some new platform , suggestions pls where attest we earn 10 % margin , at amazon complete loss

This is worst decision , they are literally forcing us to use their own 3rd class easy ship service , anyway after easy ship as well i will have to increase shipping charge to customer as their shipping charges are high
better i made a decision , i will stick to self ship doesnt matter what they do , and alternately we will charge high to shipping charge to customer to compensate the closing fee , so now our customer will pay the extra charge of closing fee , that way it will effect amazon's own customer base as well
alternately we will lower the price and shipping charge on our own website and concentrate more their to create better environment for our customers

they are cheaters , even they have increased the prices in FBA too 3 times so everywhere its loss Not spreading negativity I was very enthusiastic in starting at amazon but now its all shattered , I shifted my whole inventory in FBa and now they have incraesed 5 times fbapicka nd pack and stopped local courier
