Problem with USPS Ground Advantage (Less than 1 lb) being flagged as Late Delivery Risk even though the same service was used to calculate Delivery Promise with a ship date of today. We have this happening on over 100 orders today. One example is 114-5418683-6780248, because of this we are not able to print the labels through Teapplix our 3P Shipping Label service. Again, we have over 100 orders with this happening on today all with ship date of today 11/15 so this is very urgent. If we're trying to use the same service as used for the delivery promise, it shouldn't be flagged as Late Delivery Risk.
@KJ_Amazon @SEAmod Case ID: 16669856361, We've opened a live chat case this morning, but I'm sure it's going to be above their head. Can you please get involved as this is urgent with all these having ship date of today
?

this is amazon's way of forcing you to buy premium shipping.
Having exactly the same issue here this morning. Delivery promise based on USPS, but USPS will arrive late. Stupid A.I. this needs to be fixed.
Yeah same issue, I started a thread as well, looks like the same time you posted yours just about. Hopefully we can get some traction and mod help.
This is going to start affecting more and more orders as peak season approaches. They want to discourage using USPS GA.
We had the same issue with our orders. AHT and SSA enabled so Amazon had control over the estimated delivery date which was calculated using USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb). The orders had the two little badges yesterday on the order detail page.
We do custom and handle time is normally two days with orders shipping on the last ship by date. Been doing this for the last two months with AHT and SSA turned on. We haven't had a late delivery.
When you go to Amazon Buy Shipping protections, it says that orders marked with the Late Delivery Risk will NOT have either Claims Protection or OTDR Protection.
So if Amazon calculates the estimated delivery using their own AHT and SSA that are suppose to protect your Claims (INR) and OTDR and then deems at the time of purchasing a label on Amazon Buy Shipping that the item MIGHT arrive late, then Amazon is not going to honor their promise to protect Claims (INR) or OTDR.
Sorry Amazon ... this is just wrong. We entrusted you with the calculations and then you create another calculation that takes away the protection that you promised.
Wrong ... just wrong ...
@KJ_Amazon ... please tell us that this is a glitch.
@Seller_uuiUJi7rf0fpY @Seller_QMHY087ZFYGDJ @Seller_xOzG1wCEEmFAt and all other sellers asking about "Late Delivery Risk" badges showing for USPS shipping services:
Thank you for raising this issue. Is it still affecting your accounts, or are you seeing USPS options show as OTDR-protected when that service was used to calculate the delivery promise?
I just checked some sample orders and saw USPS options as OTDR-protected, but of course, I am still gathering information to share.
If it is still affecting you, it would be helpful if you can share an Order ID, or a Case ID with details. I am working with our partner team on this issue and it would be helpful to have active order details.

It's unbelievable that a simple thing like getting an order and shipping it out (which the majority of diligent on this platform do) has become a time consuming and destructive thing on Amazon.
Amazon wants to keep pricing down so we use the USPS shipping which saves the customer so much money. Getting dinged because of mail delays should not effect a seller's performance. You can't ship low cost items UPS second day air.
Complicating the shipping process is not helping anyone. Amazon really has to rethink what they are doing here.
Thank you to all sellers for these details and updates.
I added them to my ongoing escalation report for our partner teams to review.
I have not received any updates as yet regarding OTDR/Claims Protection for USPS Ground Advantage. I am continuing to share updates with our partner team for their investigation, and I will add updates here as they become available.
