Brand Name Change

This account was previously managed by a third party, and one of my store's brands was registered in all lowercase. I would like to change it to upper case—would that be possible?

"This account was previously managed by a third party"

Back in the 'old days' Amazon played fast and loose with Brand Registry and let sellers register brands they did not OWN. I suspect that the legal beagles eventually told BR to actually obey some LAWS and ownership rights and they tightened things up!

The first question is -- have you been able to get control of the account or are they still on it in Brand Registry?

If you have control, you can TRY, but generally once it is one way it is stuck there. How is the brand registered at the USPTO?

Because under the NEW policies things have to match exactly, if it is how you want it at the USPTO you MIGHT convince Amazon that they screwed up in the beginning and they need to FIX what they improperly permitted!

Hello @Seller_OIG0iwRIhfQ6h

As @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp mentions above, you are able to attempt this change! I recommend reaching out to Brand Registry Support through the Brand Registry Portal and start there. Feel free to send me any case ID's that get generated from doing that and I will keep an eye on it.
