What have we learned from shipping with FedEx, UPS, and USPS? On our end, we learned that the pricing provided by Amazon is an estimated shipping rate. After a month has gone by, we are price gouge by FedEX, UPS, and USPS especially FedEX.
Imagine going to McDonalds and buying a meal for $15. After getting a credit card statement, you realize that your McDonald meal has jump from $15 to $45. The AI calculated that the burger pattie weigh an additional 2 oz more then usually. That extra ketchup and mustard was adding. Because there was excess of weight, the AI gave them to right to price gouge our account without notice.
Here we are with FedEX, I sent out 5 packages. Thinking it would cost me $30 each for shipping a 50 lbs bag of sand. Keep in mind, this is an estimated cost. After a month, FedEX asked me to bend over and shove up my hole for $350 plus because the bag was slighting off by 1 lb. Multiple that by 5. FedEx, do you know how hot it is in Texas to rip off honest hard working people here?
Lets talk about UPS. We ship local here in Texas. We figure, hey, this is Texas and not going out of state here. Pricing with UPS would be cheap. What we fail to understand is, people that are out in the middle of nowhere; we get a fuel surcharge of $5 to $10. No explanation what lead up to fees. Once these packages get sent out of Texas, we are price gouge for sending items out of state as well. Thank you AI, keep up the hard work and start putting the small people out of business.
USPS, would have to admit that they are not as bad as UPS and FedEx. Just need to keep one eye open while sleeping with big Brother here.
Drummer!!! Sound the drum roll........ The question what we all want to know.! How do we know if we are losing money each month. The easiest way to find out if you are losing money is looking at Payment. From there, look at the keywork "OTHER". When you see the word other, you ask yourself, how far over do I need to bend over before I look at my loss. To look into the report, you would want to go to Transaction View-> Transaction Type -> Shipping Services Purchased through Amazon. With this information, you will know how much money you lost with FedEX, UPS, and USPS.
I wanted to share with you all how frustrating this experiences have been,
