The worst thing about selling on Amazon is how incredibly unstable and unreliable it is. You can rent offices, hire a full team, manufacture hundreds of products, or even build a factory, but you are ABSOLUTELY UNPROTECTED from their ridiculous rules and decisions.
At any moment, your account can be deactivated — for something as minor as a comma! Yes, that’s the reality. In our case, for example, they claimed there was an address mismatch, even though we checked everything a hundred times and it all matched perfectly. But according to them, it didn’t, and they blocked our account.
The most frustrating part is that they never tell you what exactly doesn’t match. They just send their cold, robotic emails. You can ask them a hundred times, and you’ll receive the same useless copy-pasted response a hundred times. One real human could simply tell us what the issue is, and it would be solved in seconds!
But no, there are no real people — just idiots behind computers doing copy-paste. Because of this, many of our products have been blocked, and we NEVER found out why. All we got were those same mindless, automated responses.
Many, if not all, of those who sell on Amazon can understand your frustration. We all feel like we've been ‘left out in the cold’ by Amazon at one point or another.
But your ‘whining’ doesn't help you or us as colleagues. In the other thread, you already blamed the German authorities and Amazon for deactivating your account - even though the reason has been known for years. As a businessman, you could have researched this. It's not always the fault of others.
What we can advise you: Rethink your business model if you're already renting offices, hiring people and relying solely on Amazon as a sales channel. Your account can be blocked faster than you can snap your fingers - like right now - and it's not all Amazon's fault. If you were to sell on different channels or use different marketplaces, you would significantly diversify and spread your risk of suspension...
Amazon is getting unpredictable DAY by DAY,
better is to find alternative of it, or plan B , otherwise they will Blok you oxigen and you are dead
For years, I was completely dependent on Amazon. I constantly feared negative reviews, A-to-Z claims, and the possibility of my account being suspended. At times, I even faced existential anxiety. But three years ago, I became fully independent. Amazon is no longer my main source of income, and since then, I simply haven’t cared about it. If my account gets suspended tomorrow, so be it—it won’t affect me.That’s why I urge all retailers: never make yourselves dependent on Amazon. It has destroyed too many businesses.
