I have been getting lot of email requesting returnless refund. Customer is asking for refund claiming the product was not right, incorrect, or damaged, or late delivered. They want to return but they cannot return the item because they are disabled. This is happening a lot. I feel horrible by putting disabled person through physical hardship. Initially I started refunding. But it became endemic. Just curious-- Is it just me or is it happening a lot? If all the disabled person keeps buying and asking for free product then as a seller we will have no business. I also dont want to feel inhumane towards individual who truly disabled. Or is it just my luck that all problematic customers are disabled. Or only disabled customers buy from me.
This is an old scam. We saw alot of this right before and during COVID
scammers. EVERY carrier will pick up, takes just a call. Just tell them to call that carrier and request a pick up. Remain polite.

Don't refund without return. They aren't disabled customers, your listings are on a group or webpage as an easy mark somewhere because you gave a few people refunds. People have posted that all you need to do is tell this seller you are disabled and they'll give you a refund. Stop doing that. Make them return the merch.
Fortunately, that doesn't apply here.
Every disabled person figures out very quickly how to have ANY carrier deliver/pickup at their door. All delivery companies will do this.
If someone says that they can't return a package because they are disabled, they are lying to you.
Great SCAM that is allowed by Amazon! We had many years back where they got full refund from Amazon by claiming that. Amazon does not give a F as long as these type of customer get their money back and ar happy so they can do over and over again because Amazon makes money on transactions. We have recent customer who has got us twice claiming item is not suitable for my collection returning under no longer needed and they only return items packaging forcing us to play Russian roulette with Safe-T because you never know what they do as they do not follow policy.
If you used USPS, USPS will pick it up at no charge, just ask the customer to go online to request pick up by USPS. If you use other carriers, you may have to pay a small fee, better pay the small fee than losing the entire item.
For me, no return, no refund. Even if returned, you must check the conditions of the returned item(s). Charge restocking fees when it is appropriate.

You've been scammed. I was getting those messages 15 years ago here. Policy is policy. Want a refund, return the product.
A person can print the return stamp and the mailman takes it from the mailbox. Also, if the person can make it to the toilet, can make it to the mailbox, right? :-/ So, it makes no sense, they are just scamming you...
