Product Deactivated due to expiration
@Connor_Amazon
I've seen your name a few times on support tickets so I figured I would give this a try.
I recently had my #1 listing was removed and deactivated because of a few customer complaints about expired products. We utilize the Amazon FBA process to ship our products to consumers. In August I was made aware of some expired product that needed to be removed, and we had them removed. The dates were 09/2024. Fast forward 2 months and we received complaints that product dated 09/2024 ended up in customers hands.
After we found out our inventory was being removed in August we shipped 800 units with a new expiration date of 10/2025. And another 1700 units a few weeks later.
Our listing was shut off 14 days ago due to the customer complaints. There is NEW product sitting in the AMZ warehouse with the 10/2025 date, but it is stuck in "FC Transfer" due to the listing being deactivated.
I've asked for bin checks and the 7 units in question were indeed expired. (again, they should have been included in the removal order in August)
I've submitted appeals through the Account Health Dashboard multiple times, providing proof that the current inventory sitting in Amazon has the 10/2025 date.
I haven't been able to successfully get my product reactivated.
All of this happened right after we had our best month of the year. So, we stocked up even more to get ahead of the holiday rush and now we can't sell the inventory that we've sent to the FBA warehouses.
This is extremely business critical and I'm unsure what to do at this point.
I've worked on Amazon for 8 years now and managed multiple 7 figure brands, this is the first time I've seen amazon take such an extreme measure and I'm unsure how to get this listing reactivated at this time.
Do you have any insights?
Please and thank you.

I appreciate the information provided on your situation. I would ask what all you've provided to appeal the situation, you mentioned proof that the current inventory expire dates are all within compliance, did you also explain how you will maintain this compliance in the future? If you provided a plan of action in this situation, you are welcome to post it here after removing any personal details. This will allow me to offer suggestions or improvement to help get the ASIN back up and running as soon as we can.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
