Ive learned a great deal. Provide what people need avd get it to them quickly and well packaged.
Keep going; every step forward is a step closer to your dream.
post.Im a new seller but I've learned that you can find the most help within amazon itself rather then a third party
The best advice I can offer is to thoroughly explore all the resources available in Seller University and actively participate in the Seller Forums. Whenever you have a question, you'll find the guidance and support you need from the community, and remember, always give back whenever you can.
My advice for "back to school" season is for FBA sellers.
4th Quarter is coming up and youll need to plan for the increased storage costs. October-December Amazon storage charges for your FBA inventory increase by a factor of 3 at minimum.
So, what can you do?
Well "back to school time" is a great time to begin sending in your FBA inventory to stay in stock until October.
This gives you time to draw down your FBA inventory to less than 22 weeks which is the lowest rate for both standard and oversize. This minimizes your expense and enables the seller the redirect those resources to other areas like new product development or advertising....Or heaven forbid we take the profit and spend it on the Holiday Season !!!
Now while in "Peak" season (October-December) I recommend sending in inventory "just in time" via SPD if you can. This minimizes the risk of delays in recieving that are common during peak season. Also only keep 45 days worth of inventory.
Once January hits go ahead and build back up to a quarterly inventory level as storage fees go back to off-peak rates.
I was told very early on that success on Amazon was predicated on finding a niche and executing exceptionally. I found that to be true.
I heard@Seller_CW0P5hgbsiqWXdescribe the benefits of keeping inventory on hand vs dropshipping or third party fulfillment, which I found to be true.
I heard multiple examples of third party services being expensive and underwhelming and recommendations to learn the processes to keep those systems in house. I can anecdotally say this is true.
I was surprised to find out about the Amazon discussion panel. I'm a new Amazon seller and launched my first product a month ago. To be honest, it was quite challenging at first. I'm still learning and hope to gain a lot of knowledge in the coming years to grow into a successful seller. I need a lot of guidance and support with the process. So far, I've sold about 20 items, but I have yet to make any profit.
Seller forums is a place where people can go in order to discuss their experiences selling on Amazon and get help from each other as well as bring up issues to Amazon about selling even. It is a great place for the seller community to interact and talk with one another about their own individual experiences selling on Amazon. It's a great place for the community to go and talk!
As a business owner and educator, the one thing I know for sure is that we need to Affirm our children each and every day in the home. Affirmations help build self confidence and security in their well being. Affirmations like: I am beautiful - I am smart - I am supposed to be in this place and in this space - I am perfectly unique just as I am....I use these affirmations with my kiddos and with my college students. Affirmations build character.
Best advice i've received from a fellow amazon seller is to not let your failure discourage you from stopping, to remain consistent and you will see results
