In early November; leading up to the elections and afterwards, I; like many other sellers, experienced low sales. Sales picked up a little in mid December and then it seemed to steady and be at the same volume as previoys year.
This week's sales began to taper off and yesterday I experienced the lowest sales in six years.
The account is in good health and all four SKUs are Active.
Was Amazon down yesterday?
Are other sellers experiencing the same?
I'm just trying to make this make sense.
Hi @Seller_LQgOFZvKxxfa3,
I'm sorry to hear about your sales challenges. After seeing your company name in your forum profile, I took a look at your Bariatric Calcium Citrate with D3 (B07TX2BR42) to see if I could offer any helpful suggestions.
As a customer, when I shop for supplements, I primarily look for signals of effectiveness and safety. Your product has some really strong trust indicators that could be highlighted even more effectively:
Your certifications are impressive - ASMBS Guidelines compliance, GMP certification, and 3rd Party Lab verification. These are currently shown in image #8, but featuring them in your bullet points would make them immediately visible to customers. Similarly, your "Trusted since 2010" heritage (shown in image #5) is a powerful trust signal that could be emphasized more in the listing.
I noticed your product description could benefit from some formatting improvements. Currently, it lacks line breaks and paragraphs, and contains double asterisks (markdown syntax for bold text) that aren't displaying properly. Using basic HTML formatting could help showcase your product's benefits more effectively, or you might consider creating an A+ product description for even more impact. Speaking of benefits, you have some excellent features shown in image #7 - coated tablets, easy-to-swallow design, and fast absorption technology - that could be highlighted more prominently. You could even expand on how the calcium citrate and Vitamin D3 combination enhances absorption, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
One area that might benefit from clarity is the dosage information. Currently, image #3 states "take two (2) tablets twice daily" while your bullet points mention "2 tablets daily". Similarly, image #4 shows "600mg per serving" with "60% DV for calcium", which makes perfect sense when taking the full daily dose (4 tablets), but customers might need this context explained more clearly.
I appreciated seeing the safety warning for pregnant/lactating women in image #3. Including this in your main product description would actually strengthen customer trust, as it shows your commitment to customer safety.
These are just suggestions based on my observations from the perspective of a potential customer. I hope some of these ideas might be helpful.
Best regards, Michael
AMAZON changed RELEVANT search to FEATURED SEARCH to make more money off ads.
This really hurt businesses and has also driven people off the paltform because they are not getting the search results they want, or prices and shop elsewhere.
Amazon make it impossible for the common consumer to change search from featured to low to high. They know this.

You are not alone on this path. Nothing is a coincidence in Amazon. Time will tell the results.
Same observations here - sales on Amazon has plummeted for the past 2 weeks.
You are not alone, I feel really frustrated at the sale level, I am disappointed and wonder when it will resume normal.
The same thing is happening here, it started this Monday. What is puzzling is that on other platforms sales are increasing, not the same volume of sales mind, you but a lift nonetheless.
Are you experiencing something similar?
Our sales were flat the week after x-mas. Assumed it was folks traveling/visiting/had better things to do than read. Then we caught COVID and didn't care! Once we opened back up, Carter had died w/ the attendant fan-fare over a former president's obsequies/the CA. wild-fires had erupted and it was freezing/snowy on the east coast. Sales were minimal-until Sunday the 12th. Thankfully, this week they've been normal.
Remember, half the country is either under flame or snow! Many have no power. Reminded several times by the media during the fires that CA is the 5th largest economy in the world. We've certainly noticed a difference since folks in S. CA are now homeless/paying exorbitant rents/housing in hotel/ w/ friends or family or shelters!
We've noticed an up-tick in sales right after most folks get paid! I think a lotta folks are still living paycheck to paycheck and may have little $$ for what they consider non-essentials(for every family and age, it's different)
GOOD LUCK!
I've been on Amazon for a little over 10 years. 400k a year gross down to less 90k a year and a useless profit margin. not worth the grief anymore.
