The customer returned the wrong item back to us (fleece pajamas), we did not receive the UGG shoes and instead we received fleece pajamas in plaid. The customer admitted via Amazon messaging system that they returned the wrong item. The customers message admitting fault was sent on Dec 31, 2024 12:31 PM. Unfortunately the customer opened an A-to-Z claim on January 3rd and it was closed to their favor with a full refund issued.
We appealed through the A-to-Z claim. However, even though we provided the A-to-Z claim this information the refund was still seller-funded – and only the negative impact to our ODR was reversed. The claim has been closed and we no longer have the option to appeal in order to request the amount reimbursed as well.
If anyone has suggestions on how we can appeal this, please let me know.
