Add Brand to an item i make and already have been selling as generic

Started selling about a year ago and just got around to adding my brand. Is it possible to add my brand to products i already sell without starting over with them?

If a product is created as generic, it cannot updated to a brand later. Brand string changes from "generic" to branded, or branded to "generic" are not allowed to protect the integrity of the product per the Amazon Generic Product policy.
