I want to change the receiving bank account, I did not receive notification about the phone number, I tried many times, but did not receive the message. What should I do?

  • Look for the settings wheel icon in the top right corner of the page and click on it.
  • From the drop-down menu, select 'Notification Preferences'.
  • On this page, locate the section labeled 'Merchant Default Contact'.

Now, here's the crucial part: Is there a phone number listed in the Merchant Default Contact area? If not, this could be why you're not receiving the OTP.

To resolve this:

  • Add your cell phone number in this field.
  • If you're outside the country, remember to include the country code, preceded by +1 and then your contact phone number.
  • After adding or updating this information, please try requesting the OTP again.

This new requirement is designed to ensure that Amazon can reach sellers reliably, but it can cause issues if it's not set up correctly.
