Everyone please double check your pay statement. we have have been experiencing discrepancies and Amazon is refusing to resolve this. last two payment cycles, our actual sales and that which is reflected on the statement was short about a $6,000. it's a very clear discrepancy., Now either someone at Amazon is diverting our funds or there is a glitch in the system. We have been unable to speak to anyone in customer service. This is grand theft and we a taking legal actions. Just wanted to alert everyone to monitor they payment reports closely.
Are you sure that is not the holdback reserve Amazon applies to all sellers at this time of the year? After the holiday shopping season is over, it is distributed.
Our last payment summary, the sales and expenses were 1/3 of what they should be. The payout we got was still the normal amount, but the sales they are reporting are way less than normal. Our account level reserve moved to deferred transactions, but this doesn't explain why sales and expenses are so low...
Personally I don't look at this statement. I just verify the "Transaction View" under Payments and that the Balance is updated. Like this I am sure that anything sent goes to the Balance, and a part of the balance to my bank account. That's simple and that's all. I never tried to understand the main "Payments Dashboard"....
We are experiencing the same issue - there a tons of posts of affected sellers. We pulled a transaction report for October and basically we think we've pinpointed the data lag or lack thereof - beginning 10/25 we had zero order transactions recorded. Only refunds and non-order transactions, the order transactions missing from 10/25 to 10/31 basically match up with the discrepancy between October sales dashboard and payment summary.
Like you mentioned we normally experience about 3-5% difference, which is understandable, but we're seeing a 25-30% difference AND we pulled Nov 1 - 10th and it is 1:1 with sales dashboard, so it's not like the missing transactions were recorded in month of November.
