Hello,
Last week amazon send us an email saying one of our products is possibly counterfeit. Not sure how they came up with this scenario. They're holding our inventory, and asking for invoices. However, we have the product brand register in our brand registry, and we also manufacture the product our selves.,
We cannot provide invoices because there aren't any. How can i prove we manufacture the products ourselves?
Hello @Seller_wuog1uJJTSI57,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums.
I see that you have received a request to prove authenticity for a product that you manufacture and you have been asked to provide invoices to resolve the issue.
So that we can guide you the best, can you share which type of violation you received? Is it a policy compliance issue on the account health page? example: product authenticity customer complaint, intellectual property complaint, etc.
Typically, invoices are required to prove authenticity of the products in question. Do you have raw material invoices that you can provide? Which documents can you provide that show you are the brand owner? Do you have a registered trademark? All documents that you submit must meet our document requirements as well. I suggest to double check your invoices against these requirements to make sure they match up.
Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please feel free to respond in this thread, for further guidance. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan

It is typical for a brand who is also the manufacturer to have the brand as the business entity and the retailer as a DBA. That way the brand can invoice the retailer
I hope this helps... We got the same thing about 4 months ago. What I did was had my factory send me an invoice on their letterhead for one of my past production orders. Amazon would not accept my PO with bank wire copy as they said it had to come from the factory but in my case, I am the one who sends the PO and bank wire and that was not acceptable so again, my factory prepared an invoice for that production order and sent it to me. now, that was even rejected because on the invoice it did not say PAID. So, make sure your factory gets you an invocie adn then also puts PAID on it. Hope this helps.
Once again, Amazon randomly interrupts or suspends sales before getting proof there is anything wrong instead of looking into it first to determine if they are correct. Sorry.
It is important to note that Amazon's definition of "counterfeit" is much broader than the dictionary definition.
Also, if a customer uses a keyword in an email or feedback like "fake", "knockoff" or a half dozen other like words---the bots will tag the associated ASIN as counterfeit. Even if a customer sends a innocuous message like: "Thank you for not sending a counterfeit knock-off"
This kicks off the "guilty until proven innocent" dance. If you are in the right, you should be able to resolve after no less than three attempts. ;-)
I was able to solve the issue.
I provided an invoice from my manufacturer, to my retailer. Now im working on recovering the 201 units they said they would dispose of if i couldnt prove the product was authentic. I will keep you all updated.
