OK, the amazon labels used to open in a new window. Today i’m getting a prompt to save them as a download. Why ?

Very likely a change in your browser setting.
been like that all week they want you to download a new shipping program
Is been doing it to me for a few days now
When buying shipping to amazon change the Default Shipping label to PNG , make sure you print Landscape and you shouldnt have to download any PDF’s in order to print your shipping label. Its is right under the Different Shipping options in “buy Shipping”
It’s been doing it to me also. It started this week. I hope Amazon fixes this because I can’t use their Amazon Shipping program they want use to install because when had it installed on my computer it conflicted with my embroidery software that I use for work and some other programs and I had to take if off and had to restore my computer to the previous settings before I installed it.
Yeah this has been happening to us all week, not sure how to fix settings, if can be fixed…
Happened to me this morning. I changed the setting of the download to always open, but then it started opening automatically in a new and different browser than I was using. I had to go into my computer settings, apps, amazon app, and change the setting of the pdf so it opened in my chrome browser. Now it’s all back to normal. I wish print connect would work for me, but I never could get that to work properly.
It’s happened to me in the past. Try logging on with a different browser. If you are currently using Google Crome, try FireFox and vise versa. Usually within a day or two, the other starts working again. Also, another thing to try is to clear your cookies.
There have been a few other threads about this over the last couple of weeks. You can try messing with your browser settings, but that did not work for me when this change was thrust upon me the other week (I use Chrome for Seller Central).
So you can either download the label and then open it in the appropriate program OR, instead of that, simply return to the order screen and click on REPRINT LABEL, and that new page that follows should allow you to open the PDF straightaway like the other page used to do before this odd change that happened.
