Previously, up until last quarter, to get an ASIN cleaved one would follow these steps
go to Seller Support Help
Fill in above info and it would be done by Catalog dept.
NOW Seller support Help offers several categories, none of which it seems to understand as this process, even if searching help for it. I tried using Fix inventory page and received a reply saying they could not split the ASIN because I show no inventory? lol that’s because it’s not split yet, I followed the process that always worked in the past. I suppose the other help specifics caused the issue to go straight to Catalogue where they understood the meaning of Cleave an ASIN.
Does anyone know how to get that category to come up properly in order to submit it for cleavin?

So the beginning of the method is the same.
that’s exactly what I did, and for some reason the rep was responding they couldn’t do it. I know it’s been done before that way but apparently it is either not getting to catalog dept or it’s reaching people who don’t have a clue what cleave is
