My shipments delivered for three weeks but no check in! Is this normal? Never met one before.

Yes, it's normal. The longest I ever waited was 7 weeks.

Sadly, this is becoming the norm at Amazon...even as they charge more fees for placement and to ship farther away. Don't be surprised when Amazon keeps moving out the date that you can reconcile and file a claim for lost inventory!
Amazon is also malfunctioning by sending inventory into limbo at FC PROCESSING for months on end, all while they are warning you about low inventory fees on that very SKU AND charging you for storage on inventory stuck in FC PROCESSING...which also negatively affects your Historical Days of Supply Metric resulting in Low Inventory Fees.
It's a vicious circle of entrapment that neither Seller Support NOR any moderator we've been linked to on the Seller Forum will solve. Just cut and paste non-answers.

I have been having issues with 3 shipments.
Missing items, not available for sale, closed but not showing up in inventory.. this has been going on for weeks... Not getting anywhere...

performance by Amazon FC's has been absolutely HORRIBLE this year.
Ironically, I feel like since they made the change for placement fees and all the associated changes with creating shipments, the service has plummeted. Just been a terrible 2024

Look at their share price and earnings they keep making changes to try and keep profit levels high and all it is doing it bleaeing to death the last sellers and long run hurting Amazon overall as this platform was once the place to go buy all and now mostly made up of garage brands and alibaba KO items.

Same happening with us, it looks like Amazon changed time frame to start check in and receiving without any notice, usually it takes 7 days, now is taking more than 35 days. NO complains with carriers they are doing a great job, picking up and delivering on time also providing accurate tracking details.
On the other end, Amazon is messing up tracking information on "Shipment Events" and "Tracking Events" showing incorrect information, seller support as always answering robotically with links, no empathy, no efforts to understand and help with solution.
Conclusion, every shipment become a nightmare, inventory running low, several customers enrolled in "Subscribe and Save" program without product to receive, stock showing low, money invested, cash flow impacted and products sleeping on Amazon parking lot !!!

I had to ship to Miami which was a first. It took two weeks which was unusual for me. I was growing worried myself. I was relieved when it was checked in and showing the correct count. I am paying way more now, shipping super far away and waiting longer times. Basically the same concerns and complaints that everyone has.

I had two shipments delivered and checked in about 2 weeks ago and then last week they both disappeared in the pending inventory. I checked the shipping status and they are supposedly on the way to another fulfillment center and there is a note to wait until 8/10 on one and 8/12 on the other before filing a support ticket.
Perhaps Amazon is changing something but I will wait until next week and if they don't show as available inventory by then, I will open a ticket.

Usually that long they will start saying they didnt get them then they will make you wait another few months before you can open case by then they will want you to provide proof of life for your inventory they are holding hostage and better pray you have invoices on hand that are in the acceptable undisclosed format that the bots understand or your shipment is lost for eva..... OH HOW FUN AMAZON FBA IS!

Hi @Seller_jp3fxVhv23mGD,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! It's great to see other sellers jumping in here to provide their insights and suggestions - thanks everyone for your help!
I know it's not ideal to hear, but sometimes shipments can take a bit of time to check in and go through the receiving process due to a variety of reasons, including high volume.
That said, if you can please send me your shipment ID and case IDs for this, I'd be happy to take a further look into the shipment to make sure everything's on the right track.
I hope you have a great weekend,
Jameson
