Most of our product are auto denied when submitting our reimbursement cost with the values being too high as the reasoning is "Submitted value falls outside policy guidelines. ".
The amazon estimated cost on some products is literally less than 20% of our source cost, which is complete joke. They must be using the most naive algorithms possible to get these estimates. It feels like they put 0 effort in trying to properly estimate costs before launching this update.
As if them ignoring all the other associated costs like shipping, customs, storage, prep, labeling, etc. and just the time element as opportunity cost isn't enough - they have to screw us by low balling the estimated costs and then deny any attempts to even provide documentation of the raw source cost.
Does this mean we just have to create a case for every lost product and attach the invoices for those products showing our source cost since the reimbursement portal is on auto deny?
Greetings,
If your submitted sourcing cost has been declined, we will reimburse you based on a previously approved amount that you submitted or our estimate of your sourcing cost for the item. You can dispute a reimbursement claim using the Get help page in Seller Central.
