Safe for Account Health to use STARLINK Internet?

We're looking into internet options in an area, and Starlink would hve the best service.

However, I have read that Amazon Seller Central may not be directly compatible with dynamic IP addresses from Starlink.

Because Amazon records your IP address whenever you interface with Seller Central, this suggests that Amazon may rely on a stable IP address for authentication and account access. Starlink’s IP addresses are dynamic, changing periodically for resilience, capacity, or network updates. I have read that this dynamic nature may not meet Amazon’s requirements for IP address stability.

Given these factors, it seems likely that we may encounter issues accessing Amazon Seller Central with a dynamic IP address from Starlink, including Amazon’s systems may flag our IP address as suspicious, leading to account restrictions or even account suspension.

I have opened a case where I was told "Amazon doesn't have any guidelines regarding internet service provider. Also, there is no possible implications for Amazon account health by using any particular Service provider." Is this true?

We specifically need to know if it is safe for our Amazon account health to use dynamic IP addresses from Starlink's internet service.

I've been using Starlink since 2022 from my office/warehouse space. Zero issues with account health problems. Most of the time when you hear about someone suspended for "related accounts" it really has nothing to do with internet service fingerprinting. Its usually because they linked the same bank account or used the same credit card, etc.

Amazon uses multiple undisclosed factors to determine suspicious activity that would lead to account restrictions or suspension (detection bots that operate in the backend). IP address is 100% one of those factors, but it's almost certain, that your device ID (which is static assuming you are using the same computer to log in) is another factor.

For example:

I took my personal computer to travel (both crossing the state line and internationally). I have used hotel and airport internet, and that COULD in theory result in a suspicious flag in Amazon's system IF they only used IP address as the only factor to make the determination.

To my knowledge, most internet providers use dynamic IPs already. Within your home, between your equipment and router, those IP addresses are generally static, but from the modem to your internet provider, they are generally dynamic. This was set in place some time ago to reduce the capacity for malicious individuals to access your computer, plant a p**n site and simply direct people to your ip and directory ... or something like that.
