Hello Amazon,

We have a major issue with a few sellers listing branded products as GENERIC. these sellers are using the branded product's GS1 registered UPC. We have created many cases trying to correct this only to get the same response "please create a new ASIN"

These sellers are in violation of Amazon policy along with copyright and trademark laws. They are preventing us and many other from listing a branded product, with the correct UPC. This has allowed these sellers to cheat and monopolize thousands of products.

two sellers have listed the same BRANDED and TRADEMARKED product a GENERIC. one of them is using the BRANDED UPC preventing anyone else from listing the product the correct way per Amazon policy.

Why is Amazon allowing this?

I just listed my product a week back, and there are already 2 new sellers (whose addresses show they are based in India) who've put their offers on my listing. My brand is registered with Amazon's brand registry (pending trademark) and we sell through FBA.

These new sellers are doing FBM, and they show delivery dates within 2-3 weeks. Are these dropshippers that Amazon legally allows, or are these frauds who will ship counterfeit products?

Do I need to test buy their product? The problem is, there will be multitude of these sellers in no time.

I’m hoping to get some advice as the situation is really frustrating . I have launched my brand exclusively on Amazon 2 months and half ago.

My product listing has been taken over by unauthorized sellers, and it’s been a nightmare. Right now, there were six different sellers over the last 4 weeks offering counterfeit versions of my product at cheaper price and it’s really hurting my business.

I’ve tried everything I can think of—reporting through Seller Central, ordering the fake products to prove they’re counterfeit, .... But nothing seems to work. Every time one seller is removed, another one pops up.

I’m a registered brand owner (still waiting on my trademark, though), and it’s really disheartening to see these people trashing my brand’s reputation and profiting off my hard work. I’ve also been spending huge money on ads, and these counterfeiters are totally undercutting my prices.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What can I do to get these unauthorized sellers off my listing for good? I’d really appreciate any tips or advice.
