NEW Brand Registry enrollment guide!

Hello Sellers,

Having worked with a number of you in the past year regarding Brand Registry enrollment questions, I am thrilled to announce that with the partnership from Brand Registry, we have a new Brand Registry enrollment guide.

This 10 page guide will walk you through the Brand Registry enrollment process and provide additional context for each step to help answer your questions in real time while you are working through the enrollment steps.

You can get to this guide in 2 ways:

1. Click THIS LINK to be take directly to the guide

2. Find it on the Amazon Brand Services website (same place you go to start your enrollment). From the main page, click on the “Brand Registry” orange oval in the top right corner or the “Get Started with Brand Registry” orange oval in the image at the the top of the page. This will take you to the Amazon Brand Registry landing page and if you click on the “Get Started” orange oval you will be taken to the eligibility requirements. In the “Enroll your brand section” close to the bottom of the page, you will see “To learn more about the Brand Registry application process, please review this guide.” Guide is a clickable link that will take you the Application Guide.

#2 will get you there but that is a lot of steps to refer.

Our suggestion is to submit to the team that links directing to known Amazon sites be added to the exception rule that allows for links (in the forum) to Amazon help pages. That way this Amazon guide which is not located in the Seller Help Pages could be referred to other sellers by other forum members.

Dougal: I would advise other sellers to not register a brand. I registered a brand of games I manufacture/sell here and on other platforms. Now Amazon has blocked me from listing a dozen new products because "We are currently not accepting applications to create ASIN(s) for the provided brand name." I spent all weekend communicating with an ever changing list of 5 different "Amazon Brand Registry Support" people who never bothered to read my replies or review my documentation. They simply pasted boiler plate language and closed the case (ID 15069640491) each time. This is what happens when you register a brand on Amazon.
