This has to be illegal to a certain extent. Keeping sellers money on hold sometimes for 30 days?
Or until the buyer oks everything? What has Amazon turned into? Holding sellers money so they can
use it as they need it. I am a 17 year seller, never had a rolling reserve ever, recently they put my account
on a rolling reserve due to having my account on vacation mode like once in 17 years. No help from mods
or Amazon as to why. Then all of sudden I get financing emails to get my money. Haha. Get lost.
Now deferred transactions piling up. Amazon has turned into a Mob boss holding everyones money hostage.
17 years and I now have a rolling reserve for no reason at all. What a crock of crap.
Oh you're not okay with your "partner" holding your cash and earning interest on it for a few weeks before giving it to you?
(Sarcasm)
It's absolute nonsense, report it to your Attorney General
Amazon allows business customers to take up to 90 days to pay for their purchase. Per the article below, they are basically turning you into the creditor. The customer gets your merchandise now and you get your money when the customer pays in 30-90 days.

Just another way to delight the customer at your expense!
Outrageous. Ebay doesnt even do this stupid stuff. Amazon is using our money to fund other things.
Holding sellers money for 2 weeks shouldnt be allowed really, but now they hold it for 30 to 90 days is absurd.
The outrageous part is I keep getting emails to offer "business pricing". How about no? Nothing I sell is directed at Businesses. I pay the 1.5% so they won't hold my money for 90 days after I had ONE transaction for $4.99 being held, and then after 90 days they told me the customer didn't pay and it could be another 90 days. for $4.99. Like get out of here with that garbage. It was a Lil Dude on Board sticker no less. Amazon can be their creditor. We shouldn't have to be. But I pay that percentage so I opt out of that.
30 days? I am pretty sure we have deferred transactions from last *year* that are still open. Wait until they suspend your disbursements without cause just because their automated system thinks something applies to you (when it doesn't). Currently they are wrongfully withholding about $40,000 USD without justification and wrongfully enriching themselves through interest gained on our funds.
This is very normal...terms is a thing
you agreed to it when you signed up :(. Its part of your TOS. Also Dont sell to Business Customers you can shut that off..
Normal in commerce. There has always been a gap between accounts payable and accounts receivable. Our own government uses up to 120 day terms, railroad uses 90 days, retail distributors and manufacterers 30/60/90 days. This goes back to Babylonian times where wool and pottery orders written in cuniform. This is all codified in the GAAP.
You can go into settings > Account Info > Payment information and select Invoiced order payment settings.
From there you can elect to get paid immediatley on invoiced orders for a 1.5% fee.
