USPS APV Shipping Adjustment: Revenue Assurance ID needed

Amazon passed on shipping adjustments from USPS that are completely wrong (2 adjustments of over $100 each for packages below 2 lbs and shipped in small padded envelopes). We contacted USPS to dispute these, but they require a Revenue Assurance ID. Since we bought labels through Amazon Buy Shipping and the adjustment was communicated to Amazon, Amazon has that information, but does not share it with seller. As a result we cannot dispute these adjustments with USPS. Seller Support does not help but just restates what we know without doing anything.

Has anybody been able to dispute these adjustments, and how? Is there any option available other than not buying from Amazon Buy Shipping so that we can get Revenue Assurance IDs and deal with USPS directly?

Case IDs: 16057340431 (Order 114-1419649-3838656) and 16058686381 (111-4441566-0188236)

@KJ_Amazon how can we dispute these?

Thanks

Hello @Seller_UustF1XrcgPXx

Thanks for checking in about your recent carrier adjustments. I can't provide you with the Revenue Assurance ID you requested. Carrier adjustments for shipments sent using Amazon Buy Shipping must be submitted through Amazon support and can not be disputed directly with the carrier.

I checked that Case ID and the photos you included. I understand that you are disputing the carrier-audited shipment information, however the label information does not appear to be accurate. If you can share the actual dimensions of the package you shipped, I can request that our partner team review the dispute and escalate it if possible.

I suggest filing a complaint with the USPS Office of Inspector General. All shipping vendors & platforms are required to provide a Revenue Assurance ID to the purchaser of the label if an adjustment is made. Failure to do so is a violation of their contract with USPS for offering labels for sale. Amazon is not excluded from this requirement.
