Read onlyHi,
My application for my brand registration is currently pending, but I went ahead and starting creating my product listing. However, it told me that I have to fill out an application to sell the product given that it is branded (my brand). I completed the application but it was denied because the UPC wasn't associated with the brand.
I bought the UPC earlier that day from GS1 so maybe it was still too new? I'm not sure what to do now because I tried to reapply but it was flagged as a duplicate and auto rejected.

It can take days/weeks (or longer) for GS1 and Amazon to synch up on the data bases, so that might be the major issue.
ALSO, are the brand name and how your seller account is registered on Amazon exactly the same?
If they don't match you will appear to be two different parties as far as the BOTS are concerned. In that case you may nee to actually give yourself an LOA from the brand (you) allowing your seller account (you) to sell your own products.
BOTS are wired to only understand EXACT matches and are dumb as a box of inexact rocks...
Good Evening @Seller_thWH4vnRD6wih,
I see that one of our seasoned sellers @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp was providing some troubleshooting guidance on the selling application and UPC issue you were having.
If their reply helped you, feel free to mark it as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. It's a best practice just in case another seller comes along and asks a similar question, it will be easy for them to find the answer.
I went ahead and escalated CASE ID ending in 1131 and 9461 to one of our internal teams to review as it came up you were actually having Error Code 5461 error code issues. The team should get back to us within the next few business days. Until we hear back from them, I hope you have a great rest of the week and take care of yourself.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
