recently i sold an item that was about 120$. It was in perfect condition when i sent it but the buyer just opened a return case and claims it was damaged. The box was never opened before but now they’re saying it was damaged. Is it possible to check it was damaged in the warehouse or in transit? any help would be greatly appreciated. if it was damaged in the warehouse how do i go about requesting reimbursement from amazon?
The real problem here is, Amazon has trained it’s customers to make that claim if they want to swap out an old for new by just clicking a button, thinking no one will be the wiser. While I am not sure, it sounds like you used FBA, and I hope not a drop shipper. These situations usually end up with the customer getting a second product or full reimbursement. Amazon is not very good at refunding the seller who has no knowledge if or where any damage was made.
