Ships in an obnoxiously large package. Went from $12 to over $50!!! That's insane
How do I get a refund?
Modern day scammers! Amazon working with UPS to scam us. I've been around for 17yrs! You lied about label cost. You allowed UPS to add in $40.73 on top of the label you advertised!
Can't wait for the federal lawsuit where UPS/amazon has to pay back billions.

Do a Safety Claim and explain your problem. MAKE CERTAIN YOU INCLUDE A PHOTO OF THE RETURN PACKAGE WITH THE LABEL OR THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY DENY YOUR CLAIM!
Last year, I personally witnessed a customer who was dropping off a return at a UPS store and was forced to purchase a new UPS box because the store staff claimed the customer's box, which is Amazon's shipping box, was not compliant. Which lead to a angry customer paid a unnecessary box who was promised a free return, and extra label cost to the seller because of a bigger shipping box.

Yup, had someone ignorantly purchase the wrong oil for his mower from us then returned it we ended up losing money. I have all the information on our products and detail what they are for and someone still manages to purchase the wrong stuff. Why should we lose because of that?
Simple answer - because its not Amazon's money - its YOURS.
And because unlike eBay who will pay the upfront costs for arbitration for claims under $10,000 (upon written request) or allow you to go to your local Small Claims Court if unable to resolve your seller dispute, Amazon will only pay if they lose and are ordered by the arbitrator to reimburse you (your upfront cost is approximately $2000 and Small Claims Court, which normally costs about $20 or less is NOT an Amazon option for sellers).
In 2021 Amazon "decided" to drop the forced arbitration clause for buyers after receiving 75,000 demands in 1 year. This was because it was too costly for Amazon to "litigate" 75,000 individual claims assuming all the buyers paid the necessary fees. And it was not a "resolve in house" to delight the buyer but strictly based on cost.
Unfortunately we 3P sellers do not want to "rock the boat" as it may be and have Amazon retaliate and shut your business down (as well as confiscate your money and any FBA inventory they hold).
