I regret using AWD - Missing Inventory

I recently decided to test out AWD, as it seems they are really pushing for us to use this, and honestly the numbers just make sense. As usual though, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Luckily I tried this only using a small amount of inventory, and decided to never use them again.

I sent 80 cartons to AWD using my own carrier. My agent has provided all the documentation showing all cartons were delivered, but Amazon only shows 76 cartons delivered. I've sent them all the documentation that exists, and after reviewing they have simply stated that they aren't responsible for any reimbursement since I didn't use their AGL freight service.

So just be aware people. Yes it's really unfortunate that Amazon created all these new fees to push sellers to use their freight and storage services, especially since these services are still a mess. But it's crazy how often inventory goes missing.. even within FBA I feel like 20%+ of my inward shipments have discrepancies, but they at least reimburse you for that.

I think from now on I'll let Amazon fulfill my orders, but I'm leaving it at that.

Apologies for the frustrating experience you've had thus far. Do you have the case number where you provided the documentation? I would like to reach out to the AWD team on your behalf and see how best I can support. Provide any additional details you have when you are able!
