We have hit an all-time low on sales especially this week. Is anyone else experiencing this? Amazon glitch? Nothing has changed. Account health is healthy, no negative remarks, still low sales.
my store is seeing 4 extra ship days added on product page, hbu?
We have had sales be about half of what they were last week and typically we are busier this week than last week. i have noticed that google is not seeing as many products from amazon and is instead seeing products from smaller web sites.
Same here. Scrambling to find and fix the issue but to no avail.
whenever big events are 3-2 weeks near to the date example prime or Black Friday, Amazon would deploy tactics like remove buybox eligibility and / or add more days to your actually delivery days.
You can adjust you ship settings and it won’t help. They did this intentionally by design to block off sales from coming to you. They are hell bent on forcing you to buy shipping from them even though your OTDR metrics have been good or have improved greatly.
These are just the various ways which amazon cheats
Hello @Seller_naWWmUHbpnx6X,
Appreciate you posting here at the forums, thank you for voicing your current situation as far as Sales goes.
Its hard to provide you with valuable information as there are so many factors to take in consideration regarding velocity of sales. It is the week before Thanksgiving/Black Friday. Could be that customers are holding back or waiting for the main event ?
Let me know what you think.
Sincerely,
Joey
Tis the season. As has been said many times on all of these threads; it is a complicated answer with many different parts. Here are a few:
1. Time of year. All customers believe YOUR products are going on a huge sale in a few days so they are waiting for "Black Friday Pricing".
2. Some people are already starting to travel for Thanks Giving, another record travel year.
3. Amazon continues to monkey with their system's, both back and front-end. This always causes a disruption and slower sales.
4. Because of the time of year, consumers are looking for "different items" than what they might normally buy. Typical patterns and sell through rates do not apply this time of year.
It's rough for the everyday sellers out there right now. They people with big sales numbers are the ones liquidating products and whose business model is built around Q4. One of my clients does 84% of their annual revenue between November & December.
Best of luck to you and yours.
