Handling time now 1 day?

I just found out we were auto-enrolled to automated handling time and the one affected order is now late and only shipping options costing ~$57 and up are available for something that is maybe $14-16 at most on Ground shipping.

I turned automated handling time off, but now my handling time is set to one day and the other other option is 0 days. Do they no longer allow 2 days?

  • Our automated handling time is OFF.
  • Handling time in ship settings at 1 day.
  • Handling time at SKU says 5 days.
  • We're getting orders that have to ship same-day.

It looks like it will allow us to ship with a 1-day handling time however, we would lose AtoZ protection.

Hello @Seller_QHqYq8c9DaDpA, Dominic posted a great thread about Handling Time that may answer some of your questions: Automated Handling Time.

Back in October, 2023, the default handling time changed from two-day to one-day for SKUs that are already handled in one day or less. However, sellers can still set two-day handling times for specific SKUs.

To update SKU-level handling time follow these steps:

  1. In Seller Central, go to Inventory and select Manage all inventory. Locate the SKU and click Edit, select Offer, and then select Handling time.
  2. Upload a feed file via Feeds API.
  3. Upload a feed file via Add products via upload.

Let me know if you have any questions!
