My account was suspended for no reason

I signed up for an account, successfully activated it and got my credit card charged also. Then after 2 hours, it was suddenly suspended for no reason. They asked me to provide some additional information and I submitted my mobile phone bill but it kept rejected all my documents. I don't get it and how to reactive my account. Also tried to reach an account specialist for a call but when I entered the phone number to start a call in "Call me now" section of Account Health page, the system always said Internal error, please try again etc. I tried about more than 30 times at least. so frustrated, I just want to get the answers but it seems that I got no one to help.

Amazon is looking for a piped utility bill, like electric, water, house phone (not a cell phone), etc. Or a business license.

EDIT: Amazon does accept cell phone bills. My apologies for this.

Amazon doesn't tell you that they have to check you out. They want to know a few things, maybe what you're selling, are you a legal entity, because there is a lot of fraud.

One day you will appreciate them checking out new sellers. I just wish they would mention that you will not be able to sell for a few weeks while they vet you.

This site doesn't allow certain selling tactics, so they might want to know how you source your products, and if you have the rights to sell that product.

I am glad they do this, to make sure it's other sellers are safe as well. It will happen, if you are selling something legit, just be patient. Good luck!

As you mentioned, the sound of your situation points to still having requirements to complete verification. You advising providing a mobile phone bill, the inquiry I have on this document is if it's a contract phone, or prepaid?

I also wanted to inquiry on the document itself since we have very specific requirements they need to meet. Have you reviewed our seller identity verification help page in seller central?

In order to ensure your documents are not rejected, make sure that they meet the following requirements:

  • Be valid (not expired, revoked, inactive or closed).
  • Be high resolution and unobstructed (clear, readable, visible and in focus).
  • Be complete and not cut off from any sides (not angled or cropped).
  • Be a scanned image or photo of the original document taken from your mobile device's camera.
  • Display the full document (front and back, if applicable).
  • Be less than 50MB in size.

When you provided you phone bill, did it meet the above mentioned requirements? It is also common to see these utility bills submitted as downloaded documents, when we request a scanned or photographed image of the utility bill, was yours scanned or photographed?

If Amazon is asking for a utility bill, then you have to provide a bill that is associated with your physical residence or business address. Your cell phone can be used in any location around the country or even around the world and that bill can be sent to any location or no location - it is not tied to a specific location/address.

If you have a landline bill, that would be a different story because a landline is tied to a specific location/address. They want proof that you are paying bills at your address because that is where you live and/or do business - your electric bill, water bill, sewer bill, oil bill and/or gas bill are linked to your locatioon - your physical address. A mobile phone is not a utility associated with your physical location. Your cell phone is on your hip and can go anywhere, it doesn't stay on your desk or bedroom dresser.

Guess you'll have to wait.

I am deactivated right now, Been close to 25 days now. Because of the Inform Tax, apparently there is no "verify button" on my account to verify the bank account.

Amazon says, just upload the statement, but I have been trying to tell where do I upload it, there is no option.

My account is also been stopped , I can not use the reverify process because it won't go to the verification page when I click the button to do reverification.

To my angery , the service people , like from India , cheating me that my account is activated, but it is not.

This Amazon is over, I will never do any bussiness on Amazon again !

this same exact thing happened to me and i submitted my valid ids, passports, driver's license or state id. They can also reject these things but keep submitting them and describe your issue and eventually they will activate it. Its annoying and frustrating but be patient.

This is terrible, I cannot even close this account. am so disappointed by Amazon's irresponsibility. After they collected the selling fee, they locked my account without any further explanation. I uploaded according to the instructions, I even notarized the invoice to re-upload but they still refused with extremely superficial and irresponsible words over and over again. "We have received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. Why did this happen?

We were unable to verify the documents that you provided. "

In short, it cannot be verified, so what is the reason and what should I do when I have followed all the instructions. The Account Health section has instructions to click on the link to have the Account Specialist call but it is never connected with the reason of Internal Failure, please try again next time. Clicking send email on the Help page is useless because they keep sending me meaningless answers like "This email address is not the correct channel to submit an appeal. Please follow the instructions below to resubmit your appeal to the correct channel." ." So which channel I have to find to support this? The money is lost but the Amazon is extremely irresponsible. I feel like I've been robbed and I can't even close my account now.
