No Where to Apply for GTIN Exemption!!

I am trying to list private label products and I needed Brand Name approval and GTIN Exemption approval. I started with "add a product", and then chose "This product does not have a brand name" and "I don't have a product ID", which triggered a pop-up box telling me that I need to apply for both a "brand name" and "GTIN Exemption". After click the "Next" button, the next page (on the very top) says I can apply for both at the same time by the application below -- which was the Brand Name Application. I filled in the required information and submitted the application for approval. I obtained the brand name approval (Case no. 14527948111) but did not hear anything about my GTIN exemption status. So I tried to separately submit a GTIN exemption by following the instruction of "How to list products that do not have a Product ID (UPC, EAN, JAN or ISBN)" --- I "add a product"... then filled in my approved brand name, and chose "I don't have a product ID", I was expecting to see a pop-up box asking me to apply for GTIN Exemption, but nothing showed up, instead I was requested (by the system) to fill in product description and details, etc.. I looked for help from 2 Seller Support people (case no. 14528746521 and case no. 14529372631), but neither of them provided a real solution to my problem. Right now there is nowhere on Seller Central for me to apply for GTIN Exemption. With the frequent process changes that Amazon has been making in this area, there used to be a link to get onto a GTIN Exemption Application page, but I don't find that link anywhere any more. My products are seasonable (won't sell much after spring and before fall) and are waiting to be shipped ONLY AFTER I can go through these mal-functioning hoops to finish listing the products. I am really worried and would appreciate Amazon's immediate help!!!

I didn't read this long sermon, just one remark:

Private label means it is YOUR brand, you created this brand and the product have your brand on the packaging. So, you can NOT chose

and then chose "This product does not have a brand name"

Or your product has NO brand and you list as "Generic" or it has a brand.

I am not sure if you can ask a GTIN exemption for your branded product.

Hey there @Seller_2pn4YxmIxSoNi- I appreciate you surfacing this situation here on forums! I wanted to let you know I took a look through the case IDs you included here, and it sounds like our system may have just needed some time to process the brand approval before allowing you to list products. Can you confirm if you were able to successfully list the products in question here?

In the meantime, I'll make sure you have this walkthrough on GTIN exemptions, and this page overviewing adding product data into your inventory file, in case it proves helpful!

Thanks very much,

Danny
