I would LOVE to get some input from any sellers that have experience with this. I have been trying for months to get this resolved with support but to no avail. I'd also love if I could get a moderator in here to offer some assistance.
We have a listing that some other seller duplicated and they are selling our item. We aren't talking about a knock-off...this seller created a new ASIN and copied over all our information - title, bullets, images, everything - but they entered it under their brand name, even though the title shows our brand name. We have purchased test copies and they are indeed selling our item with our UPC (but they created this ASIN without a UPC and they are covering it with an Amazon label).
I have filed with Brand Registry but Brand Registry keeps coming back and saying that this is OUR branded item and we cant file a complaint against our own item. We go to Seller Support and they say it is NOT our brand and that we have to work with Brand Registry.
Here are two screen shots - one shows that we cant merge these listings (even though all the details are EXACTLY the same) because they are different brands. The other shows the notice from brand registry saying we can't file a violation because this is our brand.
I don't know what to do anymore. I've been in circles with support and can't seem to get anything resolved.
For any mods - the currently open case is 16003548801. Is there any path to escalation that you can help with?

Hi @Seller_gVgGkYf88ifhQ
Sandy here from the Community Manager team.
By looking into the case I'm understanding that you are the registered agent for the brand for ASIN ending in 53. You want to report the ASIN ending in 1P as you claim this is a duplicate of your ASIN. Is that correct?
I looked into the Report a Violation submission history and wondered if you have tried to select offers on the ASIN.
Typically when you type in a ASIN, you are reporting it because of some association with your brand. May I ask if you have tried to submit and select all offers on the ASIN you want to report?
Please let me know and it will help me identify the best course of action. Thank you.
Sandy
