I have a removal order for 172 units of a particular FNSKU. It was first put in for removal 7 months ago. Nothing happened with it and the removal order stayed in pending status. Then it somehow got cancelled. My new removal order (consisting of multiple products) went fine for every product except this one. It has now been another month with no activity on it. So in total, it has been 7 months with no removal.
I believe amazon has lost these units but seller support keeps telling me to keep waiting. Is amazon just grinding this down till the march 10th reimbursement change date or what?
Case ID 17137276651. Thank you MODS in advance.

"I believe amazon has lost these units"
You've been around long enough to know that happens frequently. You have also probably seen posts about what happens when they lose stuff -- They continue to charge you storage fees because (according to Amazon and THEIR inventory system) the items are there somewhere.
" Is amazon just grinding this down till the march 10th reimbursement change date or what?"
No, they are just going about business as usual -- collecting storage fees from FBA sellers.
I also have items in FBA. I recalled everything last March and April (2024). No inventory shows but these items in FC Processing. I have requested they be sent back with no response. I am charged storage fees every month. I have opened cases and they refuse to do anything, they say I have to show proof. I have shown proof. Proof of the fees charged, proof of zero inventory other than these that are in FC processing that never move and I'm still charged storage fees every month and no one will do anything. If they charge this small amount every month to every FBA seller they are making billions every month. for nothing. Neverlast says oh, it's just how they are. Well, it isn't right.
This has happened to me as well. My removal is supposed to be automatically returned. This one is since LAST April.
I have been working with Amazon specialist for over 6 months on very similar issue and still not resolved and this is for units that we haven't sent inventory in for over a year so 18 plus months of trying to get units off the books. Amazon told me they were working on the issue, but as you can see it's still a problem. What they do is cancel removal orders then just create new ones so they can say that the removal order isn't past 90 days yet and continually keep you waiting. They do this when you request units to be returned. If you request disposal the units can somehow be found and removed. It's disgusting how broken FBA is. What you need to do is demand an escalation. Then you need to show the last time units were sent in for this ASIN and then show the removal orders created and cancelled. Ask for Daniel Chi that is person working on mine for last six months....and counting.
We had removals for 1 or 2 that took 2 years, we paid nice fees on it the whole time

I keep telling Amazon that they are a class action lawsuit waiting to happen with this as you are correct they charge you storage fees all this while. I did get refunds on fees but the proof is on you to provide so start going through your removal orders and shipments to show them how long the problem has actually been going on versus the latest removal order.
Can you say amazon is your partner? In Jersey we call it organized crime.
I have a removal order from August 2024 and the best answer I can get from seller support is that it's been pending pick up since then and they don't know when the carrier is going to pick it up .... I was also told this issue couldn't be escalated because they've done everything that was required lol
hush just give them fees for life. I know some fba sellers that have had stuff over a year on removal and still stuck paying fees.
