I recently encountered multiple USPS delivery issues. Below is one situation and would appreciate your insights.
* Fulfillment Method: FBM (ORDER ID 113-4118090-2077051)
* Shipping Method: Amazon Buy Shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) and "Claims Protected" & "OTDR Protected"
* On-Time Shipping: Yes (Shipped within the required handling time)
* Delivery Status: USPS delivery stalled since Dec. 20, 2024 and today is Jan 25 2025
* Buyer Requested Full Refund: Refunded in Full, and Money Was Deducted from My Account
* SAFE-T Claim: Not eligible
* USPS Claim Form: Received in the mail, but "Ground Advantage" is not listed in the coverage category
Questions:
Since I used Amazon Buy Shipping with Claims Protected & OTDR Protected, should I have any protection in this situation?
1. Are there any options for recovering the lost funds, or is this just an unavoidable business loss?
2. Has anyone successfully escalated a similar case with USPS for resolution or reimbursement?
3. Any best practices to handle stalled USPS deliveries and avoid similar issues in the future?
I’d appreciate any advice from sellers who have dealt with USPS delays and refund situations.
