Does Amazon need the Authorization Letter from the distributor to brand or from distributor to the seller(me) to reactivate my account?
Background: We bought from an authorized distributor, they are listed on the brand's official website.
My ASC(Amazon seller central) went into review, then they asked for video verification and after the verification they suspended the account and asked for complete supply chain documents for that ASIN and id documents of the owner.
We submitted all the documents in our first appeal however the appeal is rejected.
All the invoices, logistics documents, id documents are standard. I assume there shouldn't be a problem here!?
The distributor provided us with the authorization letter(attached below), distributor's logo is there too although missing in the screenshot here. (D=Distributor, B=Brand, U=Us(my company))
What could be the issue now? Do we need to improve the letter above? Do we need the authorization letter from brand to the distributor? Something else?

Did you make up this "letter"? You need a direct invoice from the brand. Just because your distributor is listed on the website, does not mean they are authorized to allow you to sell the brand they are purchasing as a 3rd party seller on a marketplace.
You need a letter of authorization from the brand to you that says you can sell on amazon. A distributor can not give you permission to resell another brands products.
Hello @Seller_voOdbmCZjAcH2,
Thank you for reaching out. I hope all is well.
As you have mentioned in your post, I understand that your account has been deactivated.
Thank you for sharing the performance notification. Typically, when an account has been deactivated, a performance notification will be sent pertaining information on what the next steps are to reinstate the account. I see that this performance notification does not have that information. Have you received additional performance notifications pertaining information with what your next steps are? Is it asking to submit a letter of authorization?
Per our amazon product authenticity and quality policy, all seller’s must provide the customers authentic products and not infringe on the intellectual property of others. It is very important to vet your suppliers and to ensure they are authorized to sell the products and as a seller, it is very important to have a letter of authorization from the brand and not the distributor. The distributor may have authorization from the brand to sell the products but that authorization does not transfer down to the sellers. It is the seller’s responsibility to have supporting documents.
The requirements for a letter of authorizations are:
•'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property
•'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.
•‘Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted
•‘Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)
•‘Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)
The documents you have provided may not meet the requirements and that may be the reason why the appeal is being rejected. The documents must be original and cannot be altered in any way.
