Unable to list – no "Apply to Sell" option available

Hi Amazon Team,

We're reaching out for assistance regarding a product in the supplements category that we're trying to list. When searching for it through “Add a Product,” a message appears stating that the item has listing restrictions. However, there is no option to apply for approval or any explanation as to why the listing is blocked.

The item is intended to be listed in new condition. There are no active violations or alerts on our account. We’ve already opened a case with Seller Support (Case ID: 17502667241), but the response did not clarify the reason behind the restriction or what steps, if any, we can take.

We would greatly appreciate any insight as to whether this is a temporary limitation, category gating issue, or a permanent restriction for new accounts.

I've not heard of anyone being allowed to list new supplements lately. It appears that Amazon feels that the category is saturated enough. It's not just you; even long-time sellers are affected.

As for how long this might be the case, there is no way to know; and Amazon is not talking about it.
