Standard Price vs. List Price Help

Hi guys,
What’s the strategy for strikethrough List Price vs Standard Price?
The list price is always higher than the Standard Price. So when we create a listing, there is a line crossing over the List Price and Standard Price showing in red color?

List and Standard prices should be the same. They would be considered the MSRP.

Strikethroughs happen when you have a sales price in.

You will not get the strikethrough if you haven’t had a SIGNIFICANT sales at the list price over a significant amount of time in the past.

You must establish your list price with volume before you are allowed to have the strikethrough and even then, it still seems to be a bit random if it happens or not.

Amazon scrapes the net for pricing for the same product. If it finds a lower price, you won’t get the strikethrough either.

Your post is a little hard to understand so my answer is based on how I read it.

Good Afternoon @Viva_Lotus, I found a video on Seller University that might help explain List Price better here. Please let us know if there is anything more specific we can help with. Thanks for checking in with us on the Seller Forums and for choosing to sell on Amazon. Have a great weekend!
