Is it reasonable for Amazon to immediately refund a customer if the seller does not receive the buyer's returned package?

The buyer requested a return and received a refund immediately after the return package was returned to the buyer broken. This seems odd as usually the item must be returned first.

So not only did we lose the merchandise, but we also lost the money to pay for the return label.

Secondly, the buyer filed an Amazon Transaction claim for this order and Amazon immediately refunded the buyer, which is unfair and the order was counted as a store ODR, resulting in a serious impact on the status of our store, so someone please save me .....

This is totally unreasonable, I always believe that Amazon is a fair and great platform and we need a fair and reasonable solution. When buyers have any dissatisfaction with the products, we are the first time to help them solve the problem, follow the customer first service concept, then how to protect the rights and interests of us sellers?

Please help me, not only we didn't receive the complete return package, we also lost the money for that product, the order was also counted as store ODR, it is aggravating, helpless and even desperate for us.

I want a fair solution!!!
