Read onlyAmazon has decided to cast a wider net in determining that supplements fall under the sexual enhancement, weight management, or sports nutrition/body building product categories. This is fine, except when a product is truly not close to any of these things, yet Amazon provides no information on what word or phrase is triggering the classification. However, that is not my primary concern. My primary concern is that for some products Amazon is immediately deactivating instead of providing a grace period.
Is this a mistake? The immediate deactivation makes no sense in the context of the lab partnership program, as its taking up to 6 weeks from sample submission to verification. A deactivation for that period of time will kill the product. If this is not a mistake what is the rationale for which products receive a grace period and which ones do not?
We have two ASINs that were deactivated immediately. One was determined to have been incorrectly identified, yet it is still deactivated.
ASIN B008RGJB0E, case id 17250939851
ASIN B07DYBC6QZ, case id 17250939811
I would appreciate any possible insight here.
